The Adult Day Health Care

The ADHC is a program under the guidelines of the Division of Health and Senior Services, and is designed so that people may come together on common ground. Participants can engage in a wide variety of activities, including daily exercise, crafts, recreational activities, and volunteering in the community. Individuals are also offered training in personal hygiene, daily living skills, and social skills.
The ADHC is a year-round instructional program and support service which aids individuals in developing essential life skills, such as independence, self sufficiency, inclusion, and productivity. The program is designed to maximize the quality of life in the least restrictive environment possible.
The ADHC program offers: Nurse Supervision Paid and Volunteer Support Staff Planned educational and recreational activities Morning and noontime meals Van transportation within our defined service area
Admission Criteria
To participate, individuals must: Be 18 years of age or older Be able to self-toilet with minimal assistance Be able to assist in feeding themselves Have a sincere interest in participation
Individuals may attend the ADHC program on either a full-time or a part-time basis.
